Finance Lead

Analytics By Design (ABD) needs a skilled and experienced Finance professional to oversee our operational budget and advise on new revenue opportunities.


What will you be doing?

Your primary mandate will be to work closely with Strategy and Ops members to prioritize needs and wants for our big yearly conference - from venue selection to all the bells and whistles.  In addition, you will also be responsible for assessing any new opportunities based on their potential merit as a revenue generator - including sponsorship and partnership. You will provide your expert knowledge in budgeting and P&L analysis to guide the team on any financial decision.

What are we looking for?

We need a highly detail oriented and passionate financial professional to oversee our books. Part accounting and part strategy, you will be the ABD’s go-to person for all things monetization.

Tech Enablement Lead

Analytics By Design (ABD) is looking for a Tech Enablement Lead to help scale our Content and Marketing team’s growing operations.


What will you be doing?

You will have direct experience with creating processes and environments to best leverage our growing 3rd party tech stack (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Airtable & more).

Your primary mandate will be designing and owning workflows / communication channels for all stages of our content pipeline (lead-gen, creation, editing, distribution, monitoring). Your key stakeholders will be all of our content creators’ and our executive team to ensure everyone has the right access to the right things at the right times. You will also be working closely with our Media Science volunteers to provide content performance data across our many platforms.


What are we looking for?

You should have some experience / exposure to web analytics frameworks and tooling. Super detail oriented, you aren’t comfortable with just a high-level understanding of things but need to know the nitty-gritty in order to troubleshoot quickly and calmly.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth, secure and efficient operations across all third party apps, website and G Suite accounts

  • Set-up and own tooling / processes for content and marketing ops

  • Pull data from various third-party sources (Eventbrite, Google Analytics, Squarespace etc.)

  • Perform analyses on web traffic and ticket sales data and create compelling visualizations for various external facing material

  • Advise on survey best practices and identify opportunities for data enrichment

 

Media Science Director

Analytics By Design (ABD) is looking for a passionate Media Science Lead to help design and optimize channel specific social media campaigns.


What will you be doing?

ABD is looking to develop and enhance its online presence on Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn by developing a targeted and structured social media plan to drive traffic to relevant and strategic pages while also growing our brand. You will be responsible for influencing distribution strategy for a wide variety of content through a test and learn approach leveraging modern web analytics tools.

What are we looking for?

You will have some experience with navigating social media platforms and growing an online presence by generating fresh and unique approaches to social media marketing. Our ideal candidate would also have

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute social media strategy specific to various channels (mainly Twitter, LinkedIn & Facebook)

  • Coordinate with multiple content creators and ensure timely delivery and distribution of media

  • Advise Strategy teams on the state of the brand and provide recommendations for where ABD can dedicate content production efforts

  • Keep a pulse on the latest analytics trends and stay engaged with the larger analytics community in Toronto

 

Strategy and Partnership Director

Analytics By Design (ABD) is always on the look-out for smart passionate individuals to help craft creative strategies to build corporate partnership opportunities.


What will you be doing?

You will own the sponsorship package design and advise on business development opportunities. You will oversee the progress of outreach efforts across the city and be accountable for providing financial and speaker support for our marquee events. You will be responsible for maintaining key relationships both corporate and individual and find innovative ways to evolve said relationships to push ABD’s content agenda forward.

What are we looking for?

You will be a smart, highly collaborative and strategic thinker. You will have demonstrated experience coaching and developing relationships in your professional career and are capable of multi-tasking and wearing different hats when assessing new opportunities.

  • Create sponsorship packages for prospective supporters and secure buy-in for media distribution partnerships and/or monetary sponsorship

  • Own key, direct relationships with industry thought-leaders and be an ambassador for the ABD brand

 

Content Team

Analytics By Design (ABD) is looking for passionate individuals to help execute our content strategy. Primarily we’re looking for:

  • Writers

  • Editors

  • Designers

  • Audio / Video Production

Our content team is our largest and most flexible team and you’ll be given the freedom to define upfront your level of desired involvement.


What will you be doing?

You’ll be collaborating with all members of the ABD team to generate content and support our diverse portfolio of media. Our content stream includes written thought-leadership pieces, industry deep-dives, audio interviews and short and long-form video media.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for multifaceted, collaborative individuals with a passion for the analytics and digital media space. This is not a role meant to find 1 person, but rather a role meant to conform to you.
